Day One

Arrived in LaGrange Kentucky a little before six pm.  Which is not bad having left about 800 in morning.  Total distance traveled today is about 480 miles.  The trip was all interstate except for the last 21 miles which took us through rural Kentucky.  Temperatures reached about 88 degrees but it was much cooler (or it felt this way) once we left the interstate.  I did not monitor the temperature during the last 30 minutes or so but it certainly felt cooler.

We did run into some rain which caused us to put on rain gear but it only lasted about 15 minutes or so but it cooled us down with temperatures reaching in the upper sixties from the middle eighties a few minutes before.

No pictures today but I may post one of the motel.  There is a good BBQ place we have been told about 9 miles away.  May check it out.  Right just resting the backside.
